The purpose of the practice is to Advise, Advocate and Represent parties who come in contact with the Planning System.

We Advise in relation to-

Whether your proposal can be considered Exempted Development,

The development potential of land being purchased,

Making Planning Applications to Local Authorities,

Interpreting Conditions attached to Planning Permissions,

Whether to appeal a Decision or to reapply to the Council,

Steps to be taken following a Decision of An Bord Pleanala,

How to respond to Planning Enforcement,

Interpretation of the Planning Acts and Planning Regulations,

How to respond to Development Plan Reviews.

We will  act as Advocate  for your case in relation to-

Making a Planning Application to a local authority, including Pre Application meetings with the Planning Department, preparing the Documentation, monitoring the application and reviewing the Decision,

Bringing in a Traffic Engineer, Conservation Architect or Acoustic Consultant to support the application as required,

Direct and co-ordinate the preparation of an Environmental  Impact Statement,

Conduct an appeal to An Bord Pleanala by way of written representations and oral hearing,

Make a submission to a Development Plan Review.

Carry out screening for Appropriate Assessment.

Make an objection to a current application, if you think you are being disadvantaged by the application.

We can seek a Time Extension if your permission is reaching the end of its life.

In all cases we will represent  your needs by first advising how to proceed and then acting as advocate for you.

Finally we have Direct Professional Access to the Bar and can arrange for Counsel opinion. We are also registered under the recently enacted Lobbying legislation.
